The most recent, and fourth book, in this line up of “Miss” books is just as funny, witty and engaging as the first three. If you’ve not read the prior books, it’s okay, you don’t need them, but you’ll want to read them when you’ve finished this one!
Fleeing from someone or some thing is what you could find in romance novels, but typically it’s not the first thing you read (unless it’s an action adventure romance). It’s typically a scene that’s fashioned in fear, weeping or some type of physical despair for one of the lead characters. Not in this one. Ms. Fresina starts you out with laughter and chuckling at our heroine’s plight and you’ll stay that way through the book.
If you’ve read the prior books in this “Miss” line up, you’re in for another treat as old characters make appearances in the most unlikely places. You’ll get to see what our favorites and not so favorites are up to while moving rapidly along in a whirlwind of creative thought (both character and author). With lines like “I do love a good alliteration, and damn just makes everything so much more definite.” or “It’s called work. Don’t worry, it’s not contagious.” to give you a small hint of what to expect.
For those of you not into funny, there is a bit of a mystery included–not so much a who done it, but a seek and find. Be warned: You may experience a burble of laughter floating up from your diaphragm at the most unexpected times. This may be a bit disturbing if you’re reading in public.
